Those living the Kingdom Life are receiving great benefits from a lifestyle of:

  • Spirituality and putting God first place in our lives
  • Faith in the Word of God
  • Praise, thanks and worship of God
  • Thriving within the local church, community of believers and Body of Christ (God’s Church)

Those living the Kingdom Life believe in:

  • Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, and that no one comes to the Father or enters the Kingdom of God any other way than through Jesus Christ
  • Authority and rights Jesus spoke of in the Gospel granted to his followers
  • Power of prayer
  • Miracles in our day because Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever
  • Fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit

The Bible (it is the infallible truth of God, His gift to us so we can have life’s “operator’s manual”, the primary compass in life for following God’s will, for prayer and for teaching)

The “Kingdom Life” means living a life of faith and in the power of the Holy Spirit and recognizing we are in this world, but not of this world. We are followers of Jesus and are therefore his representatives in society, and our true glory is in being citizens of the Kingdom of God. Everyone has the opportunity for God’s grace and forgiveness through Christ in order to become saved with the promise of eternal life in Heaven, and those living the Kingdom Life are saved and empowered and serve as a shining beacon of hope to lost souls. They are difference makers, champions in life according to God’s wisdom and definition of success rather than just society’s version. When a person is living the Kingdom Life, they see God’s favor and blessings in their life, and so do others. The benefits of God’s mercy and love are evident in the lives of those walking daily with God in this life’s journey, and through the leading of the Holy Spirit, their lives are transformed and they become positive difference makers in the lives of others in need.

Most of us will not enter full-time ministry, but rather pursue all sorts of different walks of life, interests, and careers. However, we all have some sort of ministry in us that fits within God’s plan and our local church and community. It may be as simple as having an extraordinary good work ethic and attitude on the job because we are representatives of Jesus and we are called to work as though we are working unto the Lord. Your ministry may be in volunteering to help the needy, as Jesus said what you do to the least of these, you also do for me. It may also be some sort of helping around the church, as these are all examples of living that others witness and are drawn to. How one lives their daily life when they are living the Kingdom Life is a very effective ministry for advancing the Kingdom, and often more effective and initially attractive to the unbeliever than direct evangelizing. Whether it be these sorts of examples or playing in the church band or evangelizing, each person’s best ministry is pre-destined by God and will fall within their God-given talents, gifts and personalities because the primary purpose in life for everyone is to advance the kingdom in the name of the Lord. In other words, run the race set before us with our eyes fixed on Jesus as Apostle Paul wrote in the Scripture.

Not one person living the Kingdom Life is even close to perfect. We are all still flesh and weak at times, sinners but forgiven and redeemed, and we have an earnest desire to honor and praise God, trust in the Lord and strive to put God first place in our lives. It is through this lifestyle of seeking spirituality and righteousness that God delivers blessings and favor upon his people. This is the most common theme repeated throughout the Bible.
